Pinterest – share the love!

You may or may not have heard of Pinterest, the new kid on the social media block. Yeah, I know – all this socal media stuff gets a little overwhelming after a while doesn’t it? However, Pinterest is slightly different – it’s a virtual pinboard, where you can share any images / photographs that have caught your eye. Pinterest allows you to search for any topic you’re interested in (so prospective brides can search for “wedding dresses”, “bouquets”, “wedding invitations” etc, and Pinterest will serve up lots of lovely images related to that subject.

You can also set up pinboards of your own – for example, I’ve set up “Photography Inspiration”, “General Inspiration” and “Music”. There’s a wealth of fantastic imagery being shared on there, and I find it’s a constant source of inspiration. Maybe you will too?

Hi everyone! The more astute amongst you may have noticed that the address / URL of this site has now changed from dbweddings.net to the current www.danbiggins.com. That’s because I’ll soon be offering baby and kids photography, so didn’t want to limit myself to just weddings. I’ll be changing the logo at some point in the near future (which means redoing all my business cards…sigh…!), so look out for that.

MOO Business Cards

Well, I decided that it was time I sorted myself out with some funky new business cards to hand out to the masses, and here they are – designed by my own hand, I hasten to add *puffs out chest*.

They’re printed by the lovely folk at MOO, and they’ve done a cracking job. I have to admit that I ordered a batch from them a few years ago and was distinctly unimpressed, but I’d been told by fellow photographers how good they are these days, so decided to take the plunge – and I’m glad I did!
