About
My name is Dan Biggins, and I’m a photographer based in Wimbledon, London, England.
My first ever camera I received was a Polaroid, which I was given for Christmas when I was around seven years of age – I loved the fact that the picture would appear before your very eyes within a matter of minutes. In fact, I guess that’s why I love digital photography so much, although nowadays the results are even quicker.
Growing up, I always knew that I loved photography, but I never really knew why I loved photography. I had no idea about composition, lighting, exposure, shutter speeds, apertures…all I knew was that when I saw a photograph I really liked and enjoyed looking at, it would stir something within me.
“Growing up, I always knew that I loved photography, but I never really knew why I loved photography.”
Photography still has the same effect on me today. Recently I’ve started to photograph weddings, capturing unique and joyous memories for couples on their special day, which is a tremendous buzz. Seeing the joy in a client’s eyes when they first view my photographs is immensely thrilling.
If you like what you see here, would like to hire me to capture your wedding or buy a print of my work, then please feel welcome to contact me. I’d love to hear from you.
