Hipstamatic iPhone App Review

I’ve bought a fair few photography apps for my iPhone over the past couple of years (Best Camera and TiltShiftGen, to name two excellent examples), but Hipstamatic is probably the best so far.

It’s an analogue camera simulator, and allows you to change lenses with a nifty fingerswipe as well as film and flash units to produce different effects. There’s even a little slider to turn on the flash, which is a nice touch.

It won’t be replacing my DSLR anytime soon, but it’s lots of fun for a paltry £1.19. Here’s a shot I took yesterday using the John S lens and Kodot Verichrome film:
