"Dan was our absolutely brilliant wedding photographer and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him because I simply couldn’t fault him if I tried. We’re so happy with the photos he took, he managed to capture the best moments...I couldn't be happier with our choice of photographer, he was excellent!"

Kent Wedding Photographer

From Cake to Cat Outfits, and from Chasing Squirrels to Weddings

I’m Dan, and I’m a cake-loving, guitar playing Wedding Photographer (which the more astute observers amongst you have figured out already). I wasn’t always the man behind the camera, and to be honest my career path has been somewhat…well, unorthodox would perhaps be the right word to use!

I won’t bore you too much with my life story, because let’s face it, this is all about you and your wedding story. As I mentioned above, the path that’s lead me to wedding photography has been a long and winding one, and has included a stint as a fitness instructor, a children’s entertainer on a ferry (I dressed up as Tom from Tom and Jerry. Yes, photos exist), to designing and building websites.

When I finally discovered the joys of photography, I chased squirrels around Dulwich Park in a vain attempt to photograph them. I then discovered architectural photography, because buildings tend not to move very far. Then some years ago a friend said, “You’ve got a nice camera – fancy photographing our wedding?” To which my first thought was, “Great! How hard can it be?”

Running around in a cat suit being chased by kids in 90 degree heat in Dieppe was a lot easier, I’ll be honest with you! However, since then, my love for the craft of wedding photography has grown to the point where it’s become an obsession.
