"Finding Dan to photograph our wedding feels like we struck gold. We knew he just “got” us and what we were about from the first time we met with him. "

Candice & Simon

Organising a wedding is a minefield, isn’t it? I mean, there’s just so much damn choice. From venues to florists, from cake makers to dress designers, from invitations to photographers…sigh. If only someone out there could tell you what’s involved, life would be so much easier wouldn’t it? For example, how the hell do you go about hiring a photographer?

Thankfully I’m here to help *DONS SUPERHERO CAPE*

1. You've found me! So now what?

You like what you see, so let's start the conversation. All I need are a few details from you, then I can get the ball rolling by sending you my wedding brochure...

By the way, to keep things as simple as possible I offer three gorgeous collections, containing everything you'll ever need. From beautiful photographs to jaw-dropping handmade leather albums, it's all there...

2. Let's do this!

We then chat on the phone to talk about your story - how you met, how he or she popped the question, what's important about your wedding and what you're looking for in a photographer.

Once you're booked in, we then meet up for your pre-wedding session. This is a great chance for us to get to know each other a bit better, and for you to feel more comfortable in front of the camera...

3. The Finer Details

I always like to keep in touch with my couples as much as possible leading up to your wedding, because there may be a significant amount of time between your pre-wedding session and when you get married.

That's why I'm always available on the end of the phone for a chat about your timeline, the photos you're looking for, or we can meet for a coffee to help calm your nerves and lay to rest any nagging doubts you have.

4. You're Getting Married!

Your Big Day has finally arrived! I'll be there in good time to capture all your guests arriving, and I'll also be there to photograph all those amazingly funny, happy, emotional moments that occur throughout the day!

So relax and enjoy your day! A little tip for you - every now and again just stop and take a good look around you to take in what's happening. The day will whizz by, so be sure to take the occasional mental photograph to drink in all those wonderful moments (while I'm capturing them too!)
