My whole life is a search for the splendour of love, companionship, and beauty. When I found you, my search ended, and we began a magnificent journey of one heart, one mind, and one destiny.

Life is full of journeys. In fact, I view my wedding photography career as one such journey – there are always new people to meet, new things to learn, new locations to visit and experience. Hannah & Chris’s wedding was no different, and I knew when I met them last year that theirs was a journey worth taking.

Let me take you back to September 2016. I’d been on the lookout for new couples to meet and photograph for a pre-wedding session, so I ran an advert on Facebook. A number of couples responded; Hannah and Chris being one. We agreed to meet in Lullingstone Park just outside the picturesque village of Eynsford – my wife and I had been there a couple of weeks before having lunch at a local hotel, so it was the perfect location.

The evening was a huge success and I found Hannah and Chris to be extremely warm, friendly and open to ideas for photographs. Their dog Poppy was absolutely gorgeous too, and I don’t think I’ve ever been licked quite so much during a photography session. Anyway, moving swiftly on!

Fast forward a year, and we arrive at Hannah & Chris’s beautiful wedding at Chilston Park Hotel in Kent. I’ve photographed a few venues in my time, but this has to be one of the most beautiful. Not only is it an impressive venue, the grounds are also breathtakingly lovely too (as you’ll see from the photographs below).

As I expected, the day sailed by effortlessly without a hitch, and much fun and laughter was had and many photographs were taken. I returned home later that evening, my journey complete while Hannah and Chris’s was just beginning!
