Five Oaks Event Wedding Photography, Sussex

Oh, how I love an outdoor wedding, especially one as laid-back and relaxed and Kristi & Jack’s at Five Oaks Events, West Sussex.

In all the years I’ve been photographing weddings, one thing I’ve noticed is that being outdoors just seems to calm people down. I don’t know what it is – maybe it’s the treehugger in all of us, but outdoor weddings seem to be a little more chilled out. Must be something to do with all that lovely fresh air, perhaps?

It might also have something to do with Kristi and Jack, who were also completely relaxed and took their wedding day in their stride. Nothing seemed to phase them at all, and they had permanent smiles on their faces for the entire day.

In fact, I think I was probably more nervous than they were…!

What a venue as well! K&J had two ceremonies – one in the morning at Crawley Registry Office for immediate family only, and the main event at Five Oaks Events.

The sun shone all day, everyone was happy and relaxed (it’s those trees and fresh air, I’m telling you), and I drove back home tired but extremely contented.
